Calgary has always been home for me and being active has been an important part of my life since I was a kid. Whether I was on the street throwing the football with my dad, going to the park to play soccer with friends, or snowboarding in the winter, I was always on the go.
At a young age, I found a love for volleyball and found myself playing on my schools team all through Junior High and High School. Along with basketball, wrestling, field hockey and rugby for a couple years here and there, I found myself very aware of what "sore muscles" felt like. In High School I became very interested in the human body, how it functioned and finding ways to help myself perform better as an athlete. When you play sports every day it's hard to find down time for your muscles to recover, so I turned to massage to relieve the muscle tension.
After graduation I attended Mount Royal University and completed the 1100 hour massage therapy program and in 2010 became a registered massage therapist. I am very passionate about my work and enjoy working along side athletes needing deep tissue therapy and people suffering from the typical "desk job" pains that those uncomfortable chairs and long days with altered posture cause.
I look forward to working with you and your family in helping the body help itself!
